I had the pleasure of working with Mitzie and Jerry Watson to host a Dementia Live event at Washington Pointe, and they were absolutely wonderful! Their professionalism, compassion and expertise created an impactful experience for everyone involved. They helped participants gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by those living with dementia. This event was engaging, educational and left a lasting impression on our team, families, and guests. Oh my gosh, if you have seniors in your life that are beginning to struggle with daily life at home, don’t hesitate - reach out to Mitzie & Jerry!! They not only answer all your questions, do all the research and planning for your visits to senior facilities but have so much expertise in dementia and Alzheimers too.  Yesterday they spent 3 hours with my family sharing an Alzheimer’s simulation and answering all of our questions about my dad’s worsening condition. And for free! Jerry was amazing! We developed a friendly relationship via email and text for several months before I came to visit Arlington. The best part was how he went above and beyond when my car broke down and he was able to take me to the mechanic that my car had been towed to. He also made sure I made it back to a motel. I cannot recommend Mitzi enough.  Both of my parents had medical issues at the same time that caused them to need hospital stays, followed by rehab. My sister and I were so overwhelmed and did the best we could to try to find them a place that was nice and gave them what they needed. Once they were at the rehab facility we quickly realized that they were not being taken care of well, and that no one seemed to care about their well being or if they improved or not. A friend from church recommended Mitzi. She instantly listened and told us that what was happening to my parents was not ok. She started looking for somewhere different and got us set up for a tour of an incredible home based facility the following day. We loved it. It was everything we could have wanted for my parents. It is close to our house, the care is amazing and the price is under what we had expected we would have to pay after researching on our own! My parent are now happy and adjusting well! Jerry was a more than a resource!  He found the best place for my dad and improved his quality of life 200%.  The level of caring is like no other I have encountered. He listens to all your needs and finds the perfect place . I will forever be grateful for helping me in this difficult search for a place for my dad. The outcome was beyond my expectations!!
